A devised theatre performance based on the Stone Soup of Jon J. Muth
What does home mean to you? Where do you feel at home? What do you need to be happy?
The children from the Theatre Lab of the 6th Elementary School of Vrilissia, through a year-long journey full of questions, stories, discoveries, games, experiments, images, and sounds, embark on a journey to and from home, a journey of getting to know the world, oneself, and others. But how easy is it to create an imaginary community when the landscape seems inhospitable? In a corner of the world, where words have lost their meaning, the children of the Theatre Lab as other wise clowns, pose questions about the unknown, the foreign, the unfamiliar, in order to find what ultimately makes a person happy. Perhaps the answer lies in something as simple as making a soup from stones where "together" is finally the goal.
